Mallock Mk24

Melvyn Coon

Powered by a potent 2.1 litre Cosworth BDG, Coon's  ex Will Hoy Mallock was extrememly fast in the early 90s and the sight of a clubmans car holding off a TWR Jaguar IMSA car was both bizarre and inspiring.

Richard Borthwick

The Pilton based driver was one of the quickest class B runners in the mid 90s although the class was dominated by Chris Gilbert's impossibly rapid Lola

John Robinson

Triple champion, John Robinson from the channel islands scored an outright hat-trick of titles  1997-98-99 in the Vauxhall powered car. Despite packing only 230bhp under the hood, the Mallock won several overall race victories against much more powerful Prosports opposition(2 in 97, 3 in 98) as well as dominating it's class (8 out of 9 wins in 1997, 7 out of 9 in 1998) toppling Geoff Thorne's run as the king of class B with his rapid Lola T86/90 (BDA and later Mazda rotary-engined).
